There's no openmpi CR support for the PSM MTL (or the MX one, which might have helped) <http://www.open-mpi.org/community/lists/users/2012/01/18195.php>. I didn't look into it beyond pestering QLogic, and our infiniband kit is now on its way out (which may be unfortunate, given how little trouble we had running it compared with a recent splurge of Mellanox).
