Hi All, Found a weird issue when submitting jobs to GRID. We are using Grid Engine 2011.11p1.
When user submits their jobs with their account, it does show their username from qstat view. However, those job is running on the execute machine, the effective user is changed to our GRID manager user, even some environment variable are kept as submission user. It was surprise me, as I thought even when the job is running on execution host, it should run as the user who submits the job. Is it configurable in SGE? I think so. However, I could not find any document about it. Any help and hint are appreciated! Thanks a lot in advance! Edge
