Are SoGE 8.1.5 qmaster binaries compatible with SGE6.2u5 or OGS2011.11p1
installations? I have tried running it in a 6.2u5 cluster and all I get
is a "sge_qmaster problem / sge_qmaster didn't start!" message leaving
this in /var/log/messages:
Oct 28 14:43:55 floquet kernel: sge_qmaster[19570]: segfault at 1 ip
000000000057648f sp 00007fff15a79d60 error 6 in sge_qmaster[400000+283000]
We have a cluster in production using 6.2u5 and we had to upgrade the
qmaster binary in order to get rid of the -pe & -hold_jid bug. We
replaced it by the qmaster binary of OGS2011.11p1, but it crashed
several times since then (sending segfaults,

weekend it crashed 3 times more and we were wondering if there is some
other bug in OGS that is not present in SoGE.
