hey everyone, I'm having some issues with gridengine and it's memory usage.
I'm submitting a task to my queue with smp = 1 mem_free = 1.9G v_smem = 2.0G as resources, Now I'm measuring my task memory usage with psutil from in python and I'm hitting about 864 Mb but it's hitting the v_smem limit and kills the task. slots 1 failed 30 : rescheduling on application error exit_status 152 cpu 10.980 mem 7.371 io 0.302 iow 0.000 maxvmem 2.118G and I requesting the wrong resource? how gridengine measured it's 2.118G is unclear to me.
