We've configured a sharetree policy and would like to use the gridengine
reporting tool to monitor how well the policy is working. We've enabled
sharetree reporting:
reporting_params accounting=true reporting=true \
flush_time=00:00:15 joblog=true sharelog=21600
Were any jobs dispatched during the interval?
Yes, several thousand jobs were logged in the accounting log for that period
(per qacct). There are matching job_log records in the reporting file.
So, you get only "acct" and "job_log" entries in the reporting file, but no
"sharelog" entries?
That is correct.
Strange, for me it shows up. Which version are you using?
We are using Open Grid Scheduler/Grid Engine 2011.11.p1.
I'm still on 6.2u5, I have no further hints for 2011.11.p1.
OK, thanks. Given that others haven't come forward with suggestions,
we'll have to assume that this sharelog reporting is broken in Grid Engine
2011.11.p1. I've been working on other ways to get at this info and will
pursue that track.

Carl
but nothing is being written to the reporting file. Is there something we
missed?
We are using Open Grid Scheduler/Grid Engine 2011.11.p1.
Thanks for your help,
