Good morning. Please consider including as much quantitative information as possible in your requests for help. For e.g.,
1. Which version of Rocks Cluster Distribution are you using? 2. Which version of Grid Engine are you using? 3. What did you do differently this time when the authentication failed for SSH and SFTP? 4. Does your cluster use a central login system (i.e., your institution credentials) or separate username/password combination exclusive to this cluster? 5. Was the password changed? 6. The usual: Was the caps lock on? Did you type it correctly? 7. Were you trying the failed attempt from outside of your institution's network? 8. Does your cluster accept SSH and SFTP connections directly from outside of your institution's network? You may use the -v option for the SSH command to get a more verbose/detailed output, and such output might contain information as to why your login attempt is failing.
