I would like to support the larger character set available to XML v1.1 and I can not seem to find documentation or api calls that would indicate that groovy supports this. XmlUtil serialize for instance forces the xml version 1.0 declaration and does not even give the option of not including the declaration. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
