Hi! Just to add to this conversation: we are also using the Data Validator step, in our case to test thousands of columns in our databases for invalid/inplausible values, and so far experienced no issues using PDI 8.3.. Except for “Only null values allowed” and “Not allowed end string” we find all options in the “Data” section very practical and also use them.
