Testing the REST connection behind a proxy is still an open issue on 2.15 (see
#5114). You can somehow workaround this by starting Hop GUI with a tweak in the
`${HOP_OPTIONS}` variable, adding the proxy at a JVM level ([see this post for
an example](https://github.com/apache/hop/issues/4768#issuecomment-2582529478)).
Technically, with a 404 error you reached the server (if they implemented
correctly this error): it's a client error, you are asking for a resource that
the server cannot find...
