What would the specs for these extended notes (or whatever you want to call them) be? It's more or less clear what the high-level goal is, but the devil is in the details, so we'd need to identify what the expected behavior is. Feel free to let us know what you expect in detail and we can see if we can implement it and if someone has the time and the will to implement it.
