This will also work...
On the system level, you change the `HOP_OPTIONS` to include the hostname
`export HOP_OPTIONS="-Xmx2024m -DHOSTNAME=$(hostname)"` (macos), and then you
can use the variable `${HOSTNAME}` anywhere you want
