That may be the right place; though it may be better to plug in into
apache 2.0 its SSL directly. Check out what is already in openssl/mod_ssl
- you may be able to resue some of it - and combine it with some code from
http://idpc.labs.libre-entreprise.org/ which has some rudimentory support.
