I strongly suggest you download the source and try that way or get a binary distribution. Compiling a tweaked tarball specially one for another system, might not be a good idea. I mean, you say you can't find the source tarball ? It's right on apache's d/l page... Also, try 2.2... My .02... -- °(((=((===°°°(((===========================================
