I was mistaken in my original reply - the "#" is not normally sent by the client. The client just requests the complete document then looks for the # anchor and scrolls the display to that point, all client-side. In any case, I don't see that it's any problem - just ignore the # and send the YYY.html page then let the client do what it likes...
