Hi Maileen,
It's not clear from what you say that this is an apache problem, but if
it were it would probably be a deny statement somewhere in your
configuration. It's worth going over all the denies in your config
files to make sure you understand what they're doing.
Non-apache possibilities would include a misconfigured router or
firewall, or something in the OS like a software firewall or tcp_wrappers.
If you want more information, please include more information (detailed
error messages, etc.) as to what you mean by "it does not work".
Take care,
Jesse Ross

Hi,
i setup apache 2.2.2, PHP 5.1.2 with PostgreSQL 8.1.4 system.
i've created some folder "kmt" as alias. therefore when a user will type
in his browser my PC_IP_address/kmt, a index.html page should be displayed.
however, it does not work.
it works on my PC (where apache is installed) as http://localhost/kmt
but it does not work if we do (on another PC) http://my_ip_address/kmt.
Could you tell me where is the problem in apache conf ?
thanks a lot,
Maileen
