Before I start posting details of configuration and so on, a simple question: is there any well known problem with enabling mod_rewrite in a per-directory context, when the directory in question is a) not under the document root, and b) enabled for cgi via a ScriptAlias ?
If so, can someone point me at the relevant docs ?
