I need to integrate Windows registry processing into the Apache configuration. I'd like a quick guide to how the internals of httpd,conf processing is supported so I don't have to read all the code. Can anyone give me a quick overview of how Apache locates httpd.conf, where the file is read, where the configuration keywords are parsed and the values stored in that hash table that's so necessary to speed up a process that's done only at startup.
