i am trying to setup Apache 2.2.4(as a Service) on Windows XP Professional with mapped smb drive(y:) as directoryroot. if i only change in default configuration file(httpd.conf) directory root to DirectoryRoot "y:/www" Apache crash during startup without any error log(only with standard ms crash window - but i don`t expect that send report to Microsoft will solve anything ;-)) i already try Virtual host alias Google etc. but nothing solve my problem.
