Okay, I have filed a bug against Apache 2.0.61 http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=43598 However, I have also found out, that the issue is gone in Apache 2.2.6. So there is a workaround available and I am only submitting this message to the list as an info update.
