Yeah I know, I figured out the phpmyadmin thing, internet explorer's cache
was to blame. The other problem I had was that for some reason it seems
apache wasn't looking into subfolders. I just uninstalled everything and
then went with a wamp. This is only for test purposes so that the  there
isn't a need to upload to a remote server just to see the new page 10 times
a day. I will check the original configuration files for apache and php VS
the wamp's to see if there are any nasty mistakes that are the cause for the
problem.
