Very Very Thanks!!!! First, what version of apache are you building? Secondly, look for the file "config.nice" in your original apache (the one someone else build). This file is often in a subdir "build" somewhere in your apache install dir. If you have that file look in to it, as it contains the command used to compile this apache.
