I habe a reverse proxy apache that connects to a backend apache server. I want that the proxy uses keep alive connections to the backend server. When I use ProxyPass, it works. When I use RewriteRule ... [P] the reverse proxy makes a new connection for each request. I have a very complex configuration, so I have to use RewriteRule. I tried to use
<Proxy http://my.backend/> ProxySet keepalive=On </Proxy> but then I get: ProxySet can not find 'http://my.backend/' Worker.
