What you want to do is called proxying. Apache can do this and be configured in a number of ways to achieve this sort of result. The actual details of how to do it can range from fairly simple to very complex.

I'd suggest starting with the mod_proxy documentation on the Apache web site:

And then take a look at Nick Kew's tutorial here (useful if you have to rewrite URLs in the proxied pages and a few other things):
