[users@httpd] Apache 2.2.8 SSL is not working on RHEL5.1

I have developed a apache connector that makes SSL connection to my
back-end Application. This connector seems to be working fine on RHEl4.5
but it is not working on RHEL5.1.
Do I need to add some rpm/package specifically required  to make SSL
connection on RHEL5.1
