Hi, on computer A i installed a WAMP server with virtualhost. on computer A, if i type www.myserver.loc (as virtualhost) i'm redirected to localhost (so A computer) but in a particular folder...so my virtualhost works very well.
in computer A, i installed an Ubuntu 12.04LTS (computer B) OS under VMWare. on computer B i update /etc/hosts file with "www.myserver.loc" => "computer A IP address". (like i did on computer A) if in computer B i run FF and type www.myserver.loc, i go to root of computer A so i always get apache2 welcome message "It works". However i never get the webpage i get when on computer A i do the same. how can i get the same thing on computer B as on computer A...so when i type www.myserver.loc i should get the webpage i expected. thx. -- Alain ----------------------------------------------------------- Windows 7 x64 / Ubunut 12.04 MySQL 5.3 Apache 2.2.16 PHP 5.3.1
