Hi again. I did some more investigation and found out the following:
The slowness is apparently not caused by any INFLATE/DEFLATE combination, cause when I use: #ProxyHTMLEnable off SetOutputFilter INFLATE;proxy-html;DEFLATE ... it's still fast. Actually the slowness seems to come from mod_xml2enc, which is AFAIK also added by "ProxyHTMLEnable on"... I'd guess(!) "ProxyHTMLEnable on" adds about this: SetOutputFilter INFLATE;xml2enc;proxy-html;DEFLATE Any ideas why xml2enc makes things slow? Cheers, Chris.
