Hello.

I am running Apache 2.2.29 and Tomcat 7.0.64 with tomcat connector(mod_jk)
version 1.2.41 on AIX version 7.1 server.

We are trying upgrade the hardware and just move the LPAR(VM) to a new machine.
The new hardware has the same IP address and hostname. Of course the old
machine is shutdown during the switchover. While running the LPAR(VM) on the
new hardware, I am getting a certificate error in my chrome browser:

SSL connection error
ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR
Unable to make a secure connection to the server. This may be a problem with
the server, or it may be requiring a client authentication certificate that you
don't have.

I don't see any errors in the apache logs.

Apache is using a VeriSign Class 3 Extended Validation (SSL SGC CA)
certificate. As long as the new hardware has the same hostname, the
certificate should not care about the hardware, right?

Thank you for any help you may have to offer on this.
David
