Assuming that your sites-enabled has no "default", try, inter alia, with
attention to ssl:
# apachectl -S
# nmap -sn {whereever you are}
# cat /etc/apache2/ports.conf
# cat /etc/hosts
# netstat -ntulp | grep LISTEN
