Thank you very much, also to Arkadiusz Miskiewicz, which sends me similar 
code. I have already ran some tests - very well.

Will publish a small binary soon at the tools section, because it will be 
(additional) needed for an extended version of "network-functions-ipv6" 
(improved duplicate address setup detection [never add the same address on 
an interface twice] - don't know why the Linux kernel allows this, because 
it can cause confusion)

Any proposals for a proper name of the tool?
  ipv6addrshrink?
  ipv6addrshorter?
  ipv6addrcompress?

Perhaps later it can be included into "net-tools" (good place for it)? 
Better than the location of "ipcalc" of RedHat, which is currently in 
"initscripts" (and not available as standalone for non "initscript"-based 
distributions like SuSE).
