Hi, I work under Linux. I want to make a simple IPv6 connect() call. My problem is that I have to specify myself the "sin_scope_id " of the sockaddr_in6 struct I am calling. If I provide this sin_scope_id with the index of the proper interface trough which the packets have to be routed, everything goes fine. If I leave to 0 this field , doesn't work. Is it normal that the Linux kernel doesn't set this field for me???? Would mean that every program has to read routing tables and interface addresses....?? I must be missing something
thanks for your help., Seb Peterson, Lige Belgium. --------------------------------------------------------------------- The IPv6 Users Mailing List Unsubscribe by sending "unsubscribe users" to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
