If you interrested in some security mechanisms you should check the IETF site.
IPSec (RFC2401-11) is designed for protection of IPv6 communications.
Hovewer there are some issues, which is not covered, e.g. mobility of nodes,
large and uncontrollable number of IP numbers, etc.
