Well, then the code looks ok to me. Multiple transactions, each with its own session, all saved, all committed and everything consecutively in one thread (at least in the client code). I would suggest you file a JIRA bug for that. Maybe someone who wrote the JCA Adapter or knows more about Jackrabbit's transaction implementation could look at it.
