You can use the 1.5.x version with Jackrabbit 1.6. We didn't release the component as a part of 1.6 as there were no changes since 1.5. We moved the jcr-servlet codebase back to the main release cycle in Jackrabbit 2.0, so there's also the 2.0.0 version that depends on JCR 2.0. BR, Jukka Zitting
