Hi all, JSR-170 talks in chapter 8.3.11 about persistent event listeners. I was searching for further disuccsions of this topic, but only found some mailing list traffic from back in 2006, where a long living session, spanning the life of the repository, is suggested (http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/jackrabbit-users/200612.mbox/<229EA661-BEF4-4693-B888-33F7FA32FD6C%40maven.net>).
Has there been some work done on system level observation, that allows for a more practical registration of such events? Or is there a different pattern for persistent, system level events? Thanks, Juerg
