I sometimes see a similar message,
org.apache.jackrabbit.core.ItemManager overwriting cached item, on
Jackrabbit 1.6.2. Maybe this is basically the same issue, but that the
method printing the warning has moved to ItemStateMap sometime before
JR 2.0.
