I downloaded the stand alone jackrabbit server, and launched it on Mac OS X 10.6.5 client on a MacBook Pro (intel). I tried using the "double click" and the CLI methods. In the latter case, jackrabbit reported a successful launch. However, in both cases, Firefox returned a 503 error.
I attempted this with Mac OSX "web sharing" on and off. No joy. Clearly I missed something. I would be most grateful for any suggestions, WAGs, and links to related info. - Mark
