Unfortunately, this release has broken MANIFEST files (see JCR-4330 for details), thus we can't use it in Oak with OSGi (and yes, I should have noticed that earlier).
In the meantime the issue is fixed, and I'll do a new release once the release of Jackrabbit 2.17.4 is finished.
