Hello everyone,

Our organization is utilizing jackrabbit for our content repository management
and it recently came to our attention that the version of lucene in jackrabbit
is version 3.x and Oak uses version 4.x. Both of these versions are over a
decade old and EOL.
We would like to know if there is any kind of plan to update the version of
lucene in either jackrabbit or Oak to a newer, non EOL version? Does the
community have any concerns about the security of these jars since they are
over a decade old and EOL?

Thank you in advance for your time and help.

Regards,
Taylor Newman
