For anyone else like me who was unsure how to rebuild the Lucene index for a triplestore without reloading all the content, I recommend looking at the sourcecode for the "jena.textindexer" class inside jena-text - it's quite clear, and it was easy for me to pull out the relevant bits of that class and apply them.
