Dear GeoSPARQL implementers and potential implementers, GeoSPARQL 1.1 ----------------------- Some time ago the OGC's GeoSPARQL Standards Working Group completed initial work on version 1.1 of the GeoSPARQL standard and a press release asking for contributions to the new version was made:
- https://www.ogc.org/pressroom/pressreleases/4825 - OGC seeking public comment on update to GeoSPARQL Standard Starting a couple of years ago, I contacted some of you via email and GitHub and listed contact details at: - https://github.com/opengeospatial/ogc-geosparql/issues/59 - Contacting implementers Please add any useful information to that Issue if necessary, such as preferred contacts for your organisation. Review --------- If you would like to review this semi-final version of GeoSPARQL 1.1, please do so now and provide any feedback to the SWG as per the Press Release or just directly, within the GeoSPARQL Issue Tracker: - https://github.com/opengeospatial/ogc-geosparql/issues The SWG expects to handle as much feedback as possible already in Issues and received by mid-February and then finalise this version 1.1 within the first quarter of 2023. Future GeoSPARQL versions --------------------------------------- We will be looking start work on new versions of GeoSPARQL soon too - after 1.1 is final. Scope for next versions is not yet fixed and you may want to contribute to that too.
