Hi all, Currently working on building some tools revolving around the Simple Consumer, and I was wondering if anyone had any good documentation or examples for it? I am aware that this: https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/KAFKA/0.8.0+SimpleConsumer+Example exists but it doesn't give any insight on how to actually commit offsets, and a lot of the API regarding that area is deprecated? Does that mean that it is no longer that useful to explore the use case of the Simple Consumer?
Furthermore, a lot of the fields used to specify the requests to be made are slightly ambiguous, so any help would definitely be appreciated!
