Hi,

I'm receiving an error when trying to read consumer offsets using the kafka-consumer-groups script.

The error occurs when I consume using the pykafka library, but not when I consume with the kafka-console-consumer (which works fine)

Kafka version: 0.9.0.1
Scala version: 2.10

PyKafka version: 2.3.1

Here's the Error:

Can anyone advise if this is my error (I'm doing something wrong) or if it's worth reporting a bug (to either kafka or pykafka or both).
