I am currently trying to switch my Kafka test install to SSL by using the guide on the page Encryption and Authentication using SSL, however I am failing to get anything working including the internal broker communication, while I have had some experience with using openssl, I have none using keytool, so I assume that I am missing steps that should be obvious but are not mentioned in the guide or the guide does not completely fit to the requirements like it is based on a previous version of Java that is deprecated now since some steps give an error about unsupported command parameters.
