Hello Kannel-Users, I have installed and configured kannel 1.2 on my redhat 7.3 linux box. After connecting my Ericsson T39m on ttyS0 and rewrite the init-string to a normal "ATZ" there where no problems by sending and receiving SMS. The inbound SMS (MO) are forwarded by a get url to a Servlet. Now I have some problems by testing: Shuting down the Web-Server which is contacted by kannel to forward the MO SMS should normaly be no problem because the SMS are stored in the kannel.store file. "NORMALY" but not on my system... ;-( The smsbox debug-msgs says:
2002-09-27 16:26:09 [8] ERROR: Couldn't send request to <http://192.168.1.132:8080/smsin.sms?snr=00491736084432&dnr=01736084432&msg=lebst+du+noch+8> This is OK, because the Tomcat Servlet is offline. In my kannel folder are now to files: -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Sep 27 16:26 kannel.store -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 341 Sep 27 16:26 kannel.store.bak Why is kannel.store empty the SMS is not delivered to the Servlet?? Looking in the kannel.store.bak shows: %00%00%00%02%00%00%00%0E00491736084432%00%00%00%041234%FF%FF%FF%FF%00%00%00%0Flebst+du+noch+8%0A%D6a%B7%FF%FF%FF%FF%FF%FF%FF%FF%FF%FF%FF%FF%00%00%00%01%00%00% 00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%01%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%FF%FF%FF%FF%00%00%009%00%00%00%00%FF%FF%FF%FF %00%00%00%03%00%00%00%00%0A%D6a%B7%00%00%00%01 this is the correct SMS.
