About incoming SMS's: Try playing with the init-string. The CNMI command is used to set up incoming SMS's. If that doesn't work (maybe the R320 doesn't support relaying incoming SMS to the TA), then you can: 1. turn sim-buffering on, or 2. (the better option): Apply my CMTI patch.
