Hi guys,
Have a nice day. I am writing to ask if there is a way to send messages from kannel to the SMSC other than the normal Store and Forward short messages model.
I have two particular scenarios. One of then is to send messages as datagrams as specified in the smpp protocol. This messages are not store in the SMSC and are sent to the network by the SMSC without waiting for an aknowlegment. This would be usefull in certain types of broadcast messages. Another case is message replace short messages or message replace operation, like the one handled by voicemail servers, if the message is not delivery by any reason by the SMSC, a new message to the same target will subtitute or replace the last one and son on.
I will appreciate your comments regarding these two issues.
Thank you very much in advance.
Bye.
Melvin.
