Ok I see. But what do you mean by "next gen configurations" ? do such solutions already exist ? Because the problem here is that I can't obtain the MSISDN with Squid, that's why I need these "HTTP phones" to work with Kannel... and I assume I'm not the only one in this situation (?) There's different parts to the WAP specs regarding the versioning. Namely there's the transport type (WAP or HTTP) and then the language constructs (ie. WML only or WML and XHTML and so on). A WAP 2.0 phone *does* have the option of supporting both transport stacks, but I doubt any do. If it connects to and works with your HTTP proxy, then it's an HTTP stack. You're going to see less and less new phones supporting the WAP stack anyway, so you might as well get working on the next gen configurations (ie. how you want to route the traffic, etc.). Jon
