Don't know about the numeric sender. The UDH is probably not printing
because the debug statement assumes printable characters which the UDH
is
not.

Why are you sending MMS notifications to the SMS Box ? Do you have a 
particular MMS client application in mind ? What are you trying to do ?

Also looks as if you don't have an SMS Box connected to the Bearer Box
at this point.
