Sorry, I've missed the "status pag". That's the IP of the machine
where you _compiled_ Kannel. It's normal to show it's original IP,
don't worry about it.

Check for the "our-host" configuration directive on your config files.

Hope it helps,

Alejandro.

Hello everyone!

The weirdest thing is happening, I've been using kannel for sometime
now, and i had never noticed but....
where does kannel (bearerbox especially) gets its IP address???
My sqbox looks for the bearerbox in the This ip IP 200.x.x.x., but this
IP is no longer assined to this machine!!!
I have checked the hosts file, /etc/sysconfig/network, kannel.conf...
but i dont know where it is getting this IP from!

On the :1300/status pag

Kannel bearerbox version `cvs-20060119'. Build `Jan 26 2006 15:39:52',
compiler `4.0.0 20050519 (Red Hat 4.0.0-8)'. System Linux, release
2.6.11-1.1369_FC4, version #1 Thu Jun 2 22:55:56 EDT 2005, machine i686.
Hostname galapago.com, *_IP 200.x.x.x._* Libxml version 2.6.19. Using
OpenSSL 0.9.7f 22 Mar 2005. Compiled with MySQL 5.0.18, using MySQL
5.0.18. Using native malloc.

Do anyone of you have any clue?

Thanks

Alejandro

Thank you Alejandro... Actually i do worry about it, you see... if i have no default gw defined in this machine, sqlbox and smsbox connect just fine to bearerbox in 127.0.0.1 (localhost), but if I do define a default gw, the sqlbox goes and looks for bearerbox at this 200.x.x.x IP address, I've verified this using ethereal. I have no other explanation why it is looking for this IP address at all, it is no longer assigned to any of the interfaces nor is it one of the static routes. I have even recompiled the gateway, make distclean and all... but still it is looking for this IP.

As i said I have been using Kannel for sometime now and this is the first time I've encountered this problem.

Any ideas are welcome!!
