mysql issue

Hi, Does Kannel needs a server and client installation of MySQL to enable MySQL support? Or just the MySQL Client libs are needed? Any MySQL ./configure options tips? To make Kannel's installation running well with MySQL support? Thanks for your replies.   Regards     Willy
